NEW OUTDOOR GYM AT JULIANS MEADOW

Sevenoaks Town Council is pleased to announce that a new Outdoor Gym has been installed at Julians Meadow play area. Grant funding was obtained from Tarmac Landfill Communities Fund and the new equipment which includes a rower, health walker and much more is now in place for the public to use free of charge.

Joe Bancroft, unit manager for Tarmac at Sevenoaks said: ""We are pleased to have been able to support the Town Council with the grant towards the outdoor gym. We hope that the local community enjoys the new equipment."

Open Spaces & Leisure Committee Chairman Cllr Dr Merilyn Canet said:

“Sevenoaks Town Council is encouraging everyone to enjoy our parks and gardens and public spaces and to get fit with exercise. Why should children have all the fun? We hope you all enjoy using this new, free facility.”
