Sevenoaks Town Council has published its final approved response to the District Council’s Local Plan consultation

Published: 09 December 2025

Sevenoaks Town Council’s Planning & Environment Committee has been reviewing the contents of Sevenoaks District Council’s draft Local Plan, which is currently undergoing its Regulation 18 public consultation.

Production of the Town Council’s full and final response to the Local Plan consultation, which was agreed in principle by the Planning & Environment Committee and officially approved at the full Council meeting last night [8th December 2025] has been a collaborative process, with Ward Councillors having contributed comments towards the proposed housing sites within their respective Wards, and a Working Group* having reviewed the remaining proposed policies and objectives.

Sevenoaks Town Council is pleased to publish a copy of its final response, which will now be submitted to the District Council for consideration and with the hope that its comments will influence the next phase of the Local Plan’s production – the Regulation 19 draft. It can be viewed via the following link, as well as directly from the Town Council’s website.
