Vegan Market back in Sevenoaks

Sevenoaks first Vegan Market was held in June 2021 and proved such a success that a second is to be held from 10.30am on Saturday 13th November. Adding another dimension this time there will be free live music throughout the day!

There will be 25 – 30 market stalls and not surprisingly, many will be food related, but there will also be a wide range of other products available. These will include clothing, cosmetics, housewares, jewellery and candles etc. The market is run by Vegan Markets UK who have a great track record in this field. Further information on them can be found at www.veganmarkets.co.uk.

The market will take place in the lovely, and appropriate setting of The Vine Gardens TN13 3SU. The Gardens have been awarded Green Flag status in 2021 meaning that they are among the elite of public gardens throughout the UK.

Taking advantage of the setting live music has been arranged on the bandstand adjoining the market. Acts include; Olly Stevenson on piano, Paul Malsom on guitar, JB trio featuring vocals, sax and guitar and finally Paul Malsom Organ Trio with guitar, organ and drums. All arranged by The Listening Room Music Agency.

Sevenoaks Mayor, Cllr Merilyn Canet is delighted to see the market return “With the huge growth in vegan interest we are so pleased to be able to offer such a vast range of products to local people. The market has been organised by Sevenoaks Town Team which is working hard to revitalise Sevenoaks post lockdown. By promoting vegan shopping this will also help grow awareness and the local vegan shops which are now emerging.”
