The results of the 2021 RHS Community Awards are in, and Sevenoaks Town has been awarded Achievement Awards for work within the community. The Community Awards’ objectives are to support, transform, and connect communities through the power of horticulture.

 

Nourishing your community: Using food growing as a tool to support communities

Planting with purpose: Creatively using plants to address community challenges

Cultivating your community: Strengthening communities and building links between diverse groups of people

Bat & Ball Station platform public toilet was awarded Platinum for the Loo of the Year Award. The Awards have a simple objective, namely, to encourage the highest possible standards in all ‘away from home’ washrooms.

Sevenoaks Town Council is delighted with the results and gives special thanks to all the businesses, organisations and volunteers who help and make the town such a success.
