The Planning & Environment Committee deals with all the issues related to the town and country planning matters including redevelopment, traffic and parking issues, local public transport, road safety and conservation areas and environmental improvements.
Members of the public wishing to speak and address the Planning & Environment Committee must register to do so stating they wish to speak with the Town Council by 12noon on the date of the meeting. The Town Council permits one person to speak in favour and one against each Planning Application on a first registered basis. Please note that the proceedings of these meeting may be recorded in line with regulations set out in the Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014.
