PRESS RELEASE: Final Draft of Sevenoaks Town Council’s Neighbourhood Development Plan

The Committee dates for the review and sign-off of the Final Draft of the Neighbourhood Development Plan have been scheduled, and are as set out below.
• 6pm 20th June 2022 – Steering Committee
• 7pm 20th June 2022 – Planning Committee
Both of these meetings will be open to the public and members of the public may register to speak during the Public Question Time that will precede the Planning Committee Meeting if they have any queries relating to this. Please note that registration to speak is done so on a first-come-first-served basis in order to keep the meeting running efficiently.
The Final Draft and supporting documents are currently being prepared and finalised by Sevenoaks Town Council’s consultant, Hugo Nowell of Urban Initiatives Studio. The supporting documents will include an Appendix which outlines all changes made to the NDP since it went out to public consultation in 2020, including removal of design quantums following Statutory Consultee advice.
These documents will be made available to the public on the 14th June 2022, on publication of the Agendas for the Steering Committee and Planning Committee Meetings mentioned above. In the meantime, the most up-to-date version of the draft NDP, as well as background information on its development is available via this link. Please note that slight changes may be made to this before 14th June 2022.
