PRESS RELEASE: Sevenoaks Youth Council House of Commons Trip

On Tuesday the 18th of October 2022 the Youth Council and young people from House in the Basement Youth Café were invited to visit the House of Commons along with Linda Larter the Town Clerk, Councilor Dr Merilyn Canet, Daren Mountain Manager of House in the Basement and Ieuan Chandler-Wilson, Youth Committee Clerk.
There was a tour around the historic building followed by a Question and Answer session hosted by Laura Trott the MP for Sevenoaks who also explained about her role as MP and how she is the voice in government for people in Sevenoaks and across the district.
The young people then participated in a Question-and-Answer session with Laura.
