The Mayor surprised John Wood at the market this week with a presentation of a Sevenoaks shield to recognise his 50 years of trading in Sevenoaks markets.

John is up VERY early on Wednesdays to buy the flowers for the market, his wife Alice then sells them until John returns to the market later in the morning.

John and Alice have also been very supportive with Sevenoaks in Bloom and charity fundraising.
