Sevenoaks Town Council Open Spaces Team has repaired the steps on the path from Brittains Lane to The Middlings and installed a new post and rope handrail to help negotiate the sometimes slippery path.

Councillors have reported that several residents have informed them that they are very pleased and thankful for this. Feedback includes the following:
“I would like to say a big “thank you” to you for making our steps down into Middlings Wood safer and for providing a new handrail. It is a great asset for those of us less able bodied.”
“I’ve just used the footpath - thank you - the steps feel safer now.”
