PRESS RELEASE Public are invited to Infinity sculpture launch

The Infinity sculpture is being launched at Greatness Recreation Ground at 10am on Saturday 15th June 2024 and the public are invited to attend.
Infinity is a social sculpture project that aims to work in harmony with the cycles of the natural environment and includes the participation of collaborators.
The artist, Márcia Clayton has engraved authorial poems, mantras, quotes and haikus by SVAF artists and others, promoting togetherness and equanimity through the tactile and visual connection with the infinity symbol.
The creation of the infinity symbol in 1655 is credited to the Kentish mathematician John Wallis. The artist reinforces the infinite possibilities of achieving our personal wellbeing and empathy towards the planet Earth.
