Mayor of Sevenoaks, Cllr Libby Ancrum, holds annual Civic Service.

The Mayor of Sevenoaks, Councillor Libby Ancrum, held the annual Civic Service at St Luke's Church Sevenoaks on Sunday 23 June.

The Sevenoaks Air Cadets 2158 (Sevenoaks) Squadron formed the Guard of Honour to welcome the Deputy Lieutenant of Kent, The Lord Colgrain, Mayors and dignitaries from Kent and London Boroughs.

The Service marked the 50th Anniversary of the inception of Sevenoaks Town Council and was led by Rev. Anne Bourne.

Lessons and prayers were read by the Mayor's chosen Charities, Sevenoaks Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) and Sevenoaks Welcomes Refugees (SWR), together with the Deputy Mayor and the Mayor’s Cadet.
