PRESS RELEASE: Friends of Greatness Recreation Ground

Local people are invited to help make a difference at Greatness Recreation Ground. Sevenoaks Town Council are looking for individuals from the Greatness area who are passionate about their green space to help set up a Friends Group for the Greatness Recreation Ground.
Following the meeting of the Greatness Recreation Ground Working Group held on the 26th of June 2024, it was noted that it would be beneficial to have a ‘Friends Group’ who would help work with the Town Council to provide information on issues that impact Greatness Recreation Ground and suggest ways in which the Town Council and external stakeholders can take measures to improve these issues.
As part of the Friends of Greatness Recreation Ground, you would be working with the landowners (Sevenoaks Town Council) to enhance the area and help suggest ways to improve the site, this could be done through creating opportunities for events at the site or improving walkways/ paths and other aspects all of which could provide a wider positive impact.
