Press release: Sevenoaks Wednesday Market moves to High Street next week

  

The Sevenoaks Wednesday Market will open up in its new home in the High Street next Wednesday [Dec 11]

The market is set to relocate from Buckhurst Lane car park to the Market site outside the Chequers, initially for a trial period of six months.

The move will be during the busy pre-Christmas shopping period and will also free up 76 car parking spaces on Wednesdays.

The market runs from 8am to 2pm every week and sells a variety of clothes, fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh fish, baked goods and flowers and plants.

Deputy Mayor Cllr Tony Clayton and Cllr Claire Shea paid a visit to the Wednesday market traders to talk about their move to the High Street site from December 11. [see pic]
