Sevenoaks is a finalist in Britain In Bloom 2025!

What is Sevenoaks In Bloom?

Sevenoaks in Bloom is a group of volunteers, local businesses and partners led by Sevenoaks Town Council who come together to care for our environment, protecting wildlife, and encouraging the community to come together through floral and gardening projects in our town.

Through gardening we bring people together to create a positive and lasting improvement to our environment for the benefit of all. We address issues such as sustainability, recycling, minimising waste, and energy conservation. Sevenoaks in Bloom is about creating a stunning environment in which to live, visit and work.

Sevenoaks in Bloom are delighted to have reached the Britain in Bloom national final for 2025. They have chosen the theme of Celebrating Bugs, Edible Gardening and primary colours of blue and purple.

After winning three gold awards last year in South & South East in Bloom for the Vine, Upper High Street Gardens and Town Centre, plus the Vine Park being awarded Best in Class, Sevenoaks was picked to be a national finalist in RHS Britain in Bloom 2025.

Awards received in 2024:

Why is the award important?

Our theme: Celebrating Bugs!

The signature colours for Sevenoaks this year will be purple and blue, with flashes of white and yellow, and the theme is Celebrating Bugs. Edible plants and herbs will be planted, and flowers for pollinators.

Sevenoaks Youth cafe entry

In 2024 The House in the Basement youth café at The Stag was awarded the category of ‘Thriving’ for the Royal Horticultural Society ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ campaign (Community Gardening). This year they are looking to create a botanical LEGO display. LEGO flower donations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all volunteers
