PRESS RELEASE
ARMED FORCES DAY AT THE VINE SATURDAY 29TH JUNE
INCLUDING CHARITY FAIR 10AM – 4PM

 The Town Council are holding the following events on Saturday 29th June at The Vine, TN13 3UH and invite the public to come and join us:

 • Commemoration of Armed Forces Day with the Mayor of Sevenoaks, Cllr Nick Busvine OBE, being accompanied by Town Councillors and representatives from the British Legion for an informal service at 10 am by the Flagpole.

 The Sevenoaks Air Cadets will raise the Armed Forces Day Flag at 10am. Members of the public are invited to attend. Please gather at the flagpole on the Vine at 9:50am.

• Armed Forces Day events – including music from 10am till 4pm on the Bandstand from Jean Bentley-Picton, Dance Works, Make Believe, Kent Police Band, D’Vine Singers and Rock Choir. Punch and Judy performances, dance classes and much more from our fantastic cadets.

• Charity Fair 2019 - local charities attend to raise their profile amongst the public including CAB, Mencap, Guide Dogs for the Blind and many more.
