PRESS RELEASE: Letter of Condolence regarding HRH Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh

On behalf of the Councillors of Sevenoaks Town Council and the people of Sevenoaks, we wish to share the sentiments of loss and sorrow felt across the nation in mourning the death of His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh.
As a mark of respect, during the period of Royal mourning, the Union Flag at the Town Council Offices and on the Vine will fly at half-mast.
During the current lockdown the Town Council arrangements may unfortunately be restricted.

For those wishing to leave flowers, The Vine War Memorial, Dartford Road Sevenoaks is recommended as a fitting location.
(Please no plastic or cellophane wrapping as flowers will be composted the day after funeral and used to plant a memorial tree)
