Sevenoaks Town Council Planning Committee returns to in-person Meetings

Published: 28 July 2021

Sevenoaks Town Council is happy to announce that the Planning Committee held their first in-person meeting since the beginning of the pandemic on Monday 26th July 2021. Planning Committee Meetings are now once again open to the public, with Meetings currently being held at the Bat & Ball Centre in order to comply with current public health guidelines and continue to practice some social distancing.

The newly refurbished Bat & Ball Centre consists of two halls, a meeting room and additional facilities available for hire. Pictured below is the Harry Garrett Hall that Planning Committee Meetings are currently using for meetings due to its larger size (23.5m x 13.25m), allowing for the public to attend with more availability for social distancing.

Councillors expressed their appreciation for the hard-work and quality of the refurbishments and encouraged the public to view and book the facilities available.

Members of the public interested in doing so may tour the Bat & Ball Centre virtually by following this link, or by expressing their interest in booking the venue to hallhire@sevenoakstown.gov.uk.
