PRESS RELEASE 'INFINITY PROJECT’ By artist Marcia Clayton GREATNESS RECREATION GROUND

Sevenoaks Town Council was approached by the artist Marcia Clayton to install an outdoor art piece in Sevenoaks. Greatness Recreation Ground was chosen as a suitable location.

This will be located on the bank above the main recreation ground and give a focal point for walkers.

The art installation will utilise 65 chestnut fencing poles displayed vertically in the shape of an infinity symbol. Each pole is inscribed with poetry and words chosen by members of the public at a community activity held in Kaleidoscope.

It is hoped that this art installation will encourage the public to enjoy the outdoors in the Greatness area.
