House in the Basement Youth Café Secures £10,000 Grant from The National Lottery Community Fund

The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK, has awarded a vital £10,000 to the House in the Basement Youth Café. This generous grant will significantly enhance the café's efforts to support and empower young people in our community.
Cllr Chloe Gustard, Chair of the Youth Services Working Group, expressed her enthusiasm for the grant: “We’re thrilled that The National Lottery Community Fund has recognised our work in this way. Thanks to this grant, we can provide young people with the tools and guidance they need to succeed. We will enable them to thrive at the earliest possible stage of their journey, laying the groundwork for future success and fulfilment.”
The House in the Basement Youth Café is dedicated to offering a safe and nurturing environment where young people can access resources, mentorship, and opportunities to develop essential life skills. This funding will be instrumental in reaching more young individuals who can benefit from our services.
The National Lottery Community Fund's support underscores the importance of investing in youth development and community initiatives. With this funding, the House in the Basement Youth Café will continue to inspire and equip young people to achieve their full potential.
