Residents are formally invited to join the Deputy Mayor for Flag Raising for Armed Forces Day

Flying the Armed Forces Day Flag

Saturday 26th June 2021 at 10:00am

You are cordially invited to join the Deputy Mayor of Sevenoaks Councillor Mrs Rachael Parry and councillors at the Vine flagpole (north-side of Vine Cricket pitch) to raise the Armed Forces Day and to show support for the UK Armed Forces who defend the UK and its interests. 

They are busy working around the world, promoting peace, delivering aid, tackling drug smugglers, providing security and fighting terrorism. 

Programme: 

10:00:       Gather by the flagpole on the Vine 

10:05:       Welcome by the deputy Mayor of Sevenoaks - Followed by prayers led by Brigadier Ian Dobbie 

Prayer followed by 2 minutes of silence 

10:10:       Armed Forces Day Flag raised by Westerham Sea Cadets
